I have had two knee operations 12 months apart by Mr Cope. On both occasions he listened to what I had to say prior to the surgery and gave clear advice on what was needed to sort my problem out. The outcome and care during and after surgery was excellent. I have seen Mr Cope today, have been discharged from my knees as both he and I are extremely pleased with them. He is referring me to a colleague for my back problem. I hope the outcome of this will be as good. I have been very impressed with the level of care I have been given, especially during the Covid pandemic.

After suffering from severe knee pain for many years, and reaching the stage where I was struggling to walk and unable to straighten my leg, I sought advice from Mr Cope. He recommended a full knee replacement, explained everything very clearly, and I went ahead with the procedure.I am only 56 and feel I have now got my life back. I have no pain at all, can straighten my leg completely and am active again. There were no complications, I have a beautifully neat scar and I cannot thank Mr Cope enough.

I was treated by Mr Marcus Cope at Renacres Hospital in January 2019. I had been in considerable pain for some time and needed hip surgery. I would highly recommend the service and treatment of Mr Marcus Cope and his team at Renacres Hospital. Being Type 1 Diabetic I was very concerned before my hip operation. From the first consultation where the procedure was carefully explained to my final check up his service was friendly and professional . The standard of care and the cleanliness in the hospital is of a very high standard. I have now recovered and am finally pain free. I had a total knee replacement 9 months ago after falling on it several times. I'm 58 and wondered if I should wait a while, but took Mr Cope's advice. The procedure went really well. I was determined to get the knee bending as soon as possible, so I did everything the team advised and I was discharged from physio after 3 weeks. With a lot of determination I was walking about happily after a few weeks and after 3 months I was doing everything I needed to. I'm thrilled with my new knee and can't praise the team enough. Mr Cope totally put me at ease with his caring manner and expertise and I express my heartfelt thanks.
